My Savior

“The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior;
    my God is my rock, in whom I find protection.
He is my shield, the power that saves me,
    and my place of safety.
 I called on the Lord, who is worthy of praise,
    and he saved me from my enemies.” Psalms 18:2-3

Praise The Lord

“Praise the Lord, all you nations.
    Praise him, all you people of the earth.
 For his unfailing love for us is powerful;
    the Lord’s faithfulness endures forever.

Praise the Lord!” Psalms 117:1-2

The butterfly picture was taken at the Florida Butterfly Gardens last year before the covid scare.

Safe with God

“Keep me safe, my God,
    for in you I take refuge. I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
    apart from you I have no good thing.” Psalms 16:1-2

Every day We need The Lord. He is our safety and our refuge. He is who I run to when troubled and praise all the time.

“I will praise the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.” Psalms 146:2

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6

Every day is a new day. The best way I start my day is with coffee , reading the Bible and with prayer. This puts God with me and God in control. It’s not me. It’s my Lord and a little bit of me. God is in control.

Follow The Lord

“It is the Lord your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him.” Deuteronomy13:4

I choose to follow The Lord because He is always with me in His word The Bible and His spirit . “But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.” John 14:26

Be a friend with God

“Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God.” James 4:4

I know I cannot be friends with God and with the world. I know something has to go. And I choose worldly things. Many years ago I had a really bad habit. My family and friends told me to quit the habit. But I just kept it up until ten years ago I finally gave it up and now I feel much better.
