“Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night.” Psalms 1:1-2
When we trust The Lord we will be blessed. ” Lord Almighty, blessed is the one who trusts in you.” Psalm 84:12
“Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.” Psalm 100:4-5
It is always good to thank and praise The Lord because He has done everything for us
“So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.” Colossians 2:6-8
Now that is November. The month of Thanksgiving. I will do some blogging on thankfulness.
Here are few questions
What are you thankful for? 2. Where do you spend Thanksgiving?
Here are my answers: I am thankful for everything I have. But I am mostly thankful I am getting stronger and recovering more and more from my accident many years ago. I am starting to walk with a walker now. Taking short steps but I am walking. I will spend Thanksgiving here at the ALF (Assisted Living Facility) That’s like nursing home for people who can do more for themselves.
“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” John 4:23-24
“Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.” 1John 4:11
Very easy command. Love one another. But sometimes it is the hardest thing to do. That’s why we must pray for each other. ( James 5:16 “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”)
